English Lessons

Our language learning classes are specialized for each individual student and their language learning goals. Our aim is to ensure that whatever is being taught is applicable and practical to each students specific needs in their environment. Our classes are 1 on 1 to guarantee specialized overview and focus.

(recommended for ages 4-14 years)

We create classes focusing on interaction, practicality, and fun. Our goal is to fully engage with younger students and give them key takeaways from each and every class that they can implement in their own environments.
(recommended for ages 14-18)

Our high-school level classes focus on building the practical skills you'll actually need to supplement your classes and future. From crafting compelling essays that stand out, to analyzing the persuasive & technical structures in writing that you encounter daily. Students will learn to decode complex literature by spotting hidden themes and symbolism, develop research skills for credible sources that make your research papers stronger, and create engaging presentations that keep your audience engaged, all while building the critical thinking ability to question assumptions in textbooks, news articles and debates. Each class is fully custom to that students specific needs in their current learning environment.
Fully customized sessions designed to equip students with college level literacy and strategic skills required to breakdown the structure and rules of the SAT and IELTS exams. Students will take apart the exact techniques needed to decode complex reading passages, analyze data graphs, and write well structured college essays that will actually stand out. We also will work on brushing up our grammar, test taking vocabulary, and presentation skills.
Build practical communication skills and cultural literacy needed to thrive in an English speaking workplace and practice the daily language needed to thrive in a English speaking environment. Students will work on building strong presentations in English, and participating confidently in meetings. We focus on expanding functional vocabulary, refining pronunciation, and breaking apart the idiomatic language that standard textbook learning leaves out. By focusing on real world scenarios, networking, interviewing, and everyday professional interactions, students build precision and social confidence necessary integrate seamlessly into their new communities.

Oliver Torres

Oliver is a USA born educator, who was raised in the garden state of New Jersey. He has been working in various teaching positions throughout East Asia, the US, and Online since 2014. From 2014-2019 he has worked with various colleges, tutor centers, and public schools within China. Most recently he has done various work for IOR as a language trainer and Inspire Citizens as a Web Designer.

In general he is specialized in early education, high school level students, college prep, SAT / IELTS test taking, and adult business professionals. Oliver enjoys crafting lessons for his students' individual needs and tries to make every lesson a good balance of technical knowledge and practical fun.

He is always happy and eager to meet people from all different parts of the world. Oliver is fluent in both English and Spanish, and has even picked up some survival Mandarin Chinese skills during his 4 years living in Beijing, China.
